ALDI is coming to Wolli Creek.
The supermarket chain will open one its new format stores on February 20 as part of Wolli Creek’s just completed apartment blocks at 4 Magdalene Terrace.
The new ALDI Wolli Creek will have 15 to 20 permanent full and part-time employees.
Opening ours will be 8.30am to 8pm Monday to Sunday and until 9pm Thursday.
The new format ALDI features a new modern design with redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays and extended energy efficient chillers, improved point-of-sale displays and store signage.
“The new innovations won’t lead to higher prices,” ALDI managing director NSW, Alex Foster said.
The open of ALDI Wolli Creek will be celebrated by a number of ‘Special Buys, not available in other ALDI stores.
Last November, ALDI opened at the South Village Kirrawee development. The company has also revived plans to redevelopment the Caringbah Marketplace site.
ALDI Menai also went through a major upgrade last September.
ALDI also has outlets at Kogarah, Rockdale, Hurstville and Riverwood in St George and Engadine and Mirandas, where it has two outlets, in Sutherland Shire.
